Lansing HS Concert in the Courtyard

The Lansing High School concert last Friday may not have been in the courtyard this year (because of weather), but the wet weather didn't dampen the spirits of the performances. The Lansing Show Choir and Varsity Chorale performed under the direction of Lorrene Adams. To get the full effect it's best to attend the concerts live, but here is a sampling of this year's Concert in the Courtyard.

Pet of the Week

by Rochelle Davis

TurtleWaylon Hello, my name is Waylon, but some people here also call me Turtle! I don't know how I ended up here at the SPCA, but isn't it nice that I get yummy food every day? I'm a nice boy who loves to talk about my day to all of our visitors. I'm also quite playful, and will happily entertain you for hours with my antics. Other felines intimidate me, so if you want to take me home, I'd be happiest as the only cat. I have been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated up-to-date, so if we're the right match, I'm ready to go home with you! Ask an adoption counselor about how to adopt me!
