LTAPA's (Lansing Theater and Performing Arts Booster Club) biggest fundraiser of the year opened the new Lansing Middle School Auditorium Lobby Monday, when the auditorium was filled to capacity for Cookies & Carols.  The newly reopened auditorium features a much enlarged lobby area and entrance, and new accessible bathrooms, among other improvements.

The annual fundraiser included raffles, cookies and punch, and the main event on stage that featured the Middle School Holiday Band, the Lansing High School Show Choir, the Nutcracker Dancers, 3rd and 4th Grade Chorus, Middle School Holiday Strings, and an audience sing-along.  Funds raised go to purchase technical equipment for the music and theater programs such as microphones and lighting equipment, as well as scholarships and trips.
