MIA/POW Watchfire

Vietnam Veterans Of America New York Chapter 377 and 704 hosted the Annual National POW/MIA Remembrance Day Watchfire at Myers Park Friday for the 27th time.  Each year past, present and future service people, families, and well-wishers gather in the Lansing Town Park to honor those missing or killed in action, and light a fire on Myers Point to symbolically guide unaccounted-for soldiers home.
