Treleaven’s 2012 Meritage won ‘Gold’ and ‘Best of Class’ medals at the 2015 International Eastern Wine Competition (IEWC). The winery’s 2012 Meritage awards are just two of seven total IEWC awards, which also include:2013 Late Harvest Vingnoles - Gold (soon to be released)
2012 Dry Riesling - Silver
2013 Wobbly Rock Riesling - Silver
Silver Lining Chardonnay - Silver
2013 Semi Dry Riesling - Silver
The International Eastern Wine Competition was established in 1975, and is one of the oldest and largest in the country. The competition is open to all wineries produced in the Eastern United States.
Earlier this year, Treleaven won eight medals at the 27th Annual Florida State Fair International Wine Competition including double gold for their 2013 Late Harvest Vignoles; gold for their 2013 Semi Dry Riesling; and silvers for their 2013 Melange, 2013 Wobbly Rock Riesling, 2012 Meritage and 2012 Barrel Fermented Tacie’s Chardonnay.
