mall_120There are great new options when it comes to mind, movement and Martial Arts at the Mall! Ultimate Athletics is a one-of-a-kind Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) training center focused on providing a variety of training options for children as well as adults through modern Martial Arts.

Relocating from their previous space, Ultimate Athletics is now open between Best Buy and Dick's Sporting Goods, in The Shops at Ithaca Mall. The center features an "A" team of highly qualified instructors with degrees in health and physical education, exercise science, and training experience with top professional athletes.

The owners of Ultimate Athletics, Ryan and Melanie Ciotoli, have a long tradition in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts as well as the Ithaca area and have a focused commitment on the community's youth. They pride the center on helping young students improve their confidence and self-defense skills through fun, exciting, and effective workouts appropriate for all skill levels.

In an effort to reach beyond the walls of the center, Ultimate Athletics has a partnerships with the Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC) to provide Martial Arts lessons through their youth recreation program and is working closely with the George Dentes Wrestling Club as well as Ithaca High School Baseball and Soccer teams to keep these athletes in tip top shape during the off season.

Ultimate Athletics has daily classes for adults and children as young as 6 with offerings ranging from the more traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to non-contact Cardio Bag class to the area's only Kettle Bell Strength and Condition program to the fastest growing sport in the country, Mixed Martial Arts.
