What is Rotary?

Rotary is an international humanitarian service organization. Rotarians are business and professional leaders who volunteer their time and resources to help others in their local communities and throughout the world.

Rotary International comprises over 1 million members from over 25,000 Rotary clubs in 173 nations and geographical areas throughout the world. Rotary is the world's oldest service organization, founded in 1905 by Paul Harris, a Chicago attorney who wanted to encourage among his business acquaintances the fellowship he had known in his boyhood days in a small town in Vermont.

Service and fellowship are the hallmarks of Rotary and Rotarians Worldwide. The Rotary motto is "Service Above Self."

Rotarians must accept and practice the "FOUR-WAY TEST" of the things they think, say, or do:

What a great couple they make!

March 1 - YEP St. Patrick's Day Parade in Binghamton

St. Patrick's Day Parade in Binghamton. March 1 (not 17th) was a cold breeze day. 22 YEP students fly their county's colors.
After the parade a pizza lunch/dinner in downtown Binghamton, a helping hand back onto the bus. A photo-op at the Park & Ride lot.

Dec. 27-28 - Tomas visits with his Area Advisors, Dick & Mary Breuninger in Oneonta

Tomas has an Over Night with Dick & Mary Breuninger, District Area Advisors for Slovakia & Germany, and the YEP student from Germany. Tomas finds the trip back to Ithaca much more scenic than the car ride to Oneonta the previous day in the freezing rain and snow.
