Lansing Softball Starts Season 4-4 Print
Stacey Bartels
Friday, 02 May 2008
Lansing Varsity Softball is off to a 4-4 start this season. The team is playing well and growing every step of the way. We have a pretty young squad with only 4 Seniors. So far, Lansing has beat Watkins Glen 19-18 (9innings with a game winning hit by Kassie Hartz), Moravia 10-6, Harpursville 3-2, and most recently Dryden 5-4 (8 innings).

We have had solid pitching from both Nicole Arcangeli (freshman) and Kristi Sullivan (junior). Cassandra Smith (Senior), Brittany French (Junior), Lauri Lynne Bush (Junior), and Cayla Halton (Junior) have really led the offense with a lot of power. One through nine in the line up hit the ball very well. As the head coach, I am very happy with the way the team is progressing and growing.
