The Lansing boys soccer team ended their season with a 16-5-1 record. They reached the sectional semifinals and lost to Dryden 2-1 in sudden death overtime.
The boys had a great year just missing the IAC title and a chance to play for the sectional title. Next year the team will miss seniors:

The Lansing Football team defeated Greene 14-0 to advance to the Section IV Class C championship game. The Bobcats once again relied on their defense, which put up their sixth consecutive shutout, while forcing three turnovers.
It was a Vincent Redmond interception in the third quarter that led to the Bobcats first touchdown early in the forth quarter, and eventual game winner, a 5 yard Trevor Countryman run, the Rusty Landon kick made the score 7-0. Turnovers and field position were the keys to the game on this evening as Greene out gained the Cats 271 yards to 209.

The Lansing Girls’ Soccer team will face Elmira-Notre Dame in the Section IV Class B Championship game 3pm this Saturday, 11/4 at Binghamton’s Alumni Stadium.
The team (18-1, 6th seed) advanced after shutting out 2nd seeded Chenango Forks 4-0 on Wednesday at Alumni Stadium. While all 4 goals were finished by sophomore Rachael Palladino, senior Colleen Trowbridge and freshman Ellyn Grant-Keane were key to our attack as they assisted 3 of those goals. We also got a stellar performance out of senior Kelly Cheatham. Our defensive line continues to show their strength (led by sophomore Megan Palladino and seniors Kaycee Nedrow and Tiffany Lind) as they earned their 13th shut-out.

The Lansing Girls' Varsity Soccer team finished the regular season with a decisive 3-0 win over Elmira-Notre Dame at SUNY Cortland last Friday night to take the IAC Championship title. This was on the heels of a 3-0 win over Dryden in the semi-final game.
Sectional play opened up yesterday at home for the girls with a 5-0 win over Newark Valley. They next travel to 3rd seed Chenango Valley on Saturday for a 3:30pm game. This is a big game as Chenango Valley ended the Lansing girls' season last year with a 2-0 victory.
