All's fair in love and...Scrabble? Seven Points for 'Love' explores the utter panic and pressure involved in forming the perfect plan to propose. Kevin is overwhelmed with nerves as he struggles to think of a way to ask for Jenny's hand in marriage. As Kevin attempts to think of a brilliant, original plan to propose to Jenny, he is stuck in the middle of a Scrabble game with his competitive girlfriend and her nosey teenage sister. Kevin must play his letters right in order to discover the right words to win Jenny's heart while maintaining his sanity when his plans go awry and he is thrown into the midst of chaos. Fun for everyone.

Seven Points for 'Love' will be performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland this summer along with another show, Voices in the Dark, featuring the same writer/director, and cast. The Fringe Festival is the most popular performing arts festival in the world, consisting of approximately 1,800 shows a year. The cast and crew from Ithaca College will  preview the shows at the Kitchen for the Ithaca community. Proceeds from the Kitchen Theatre performance will provide funding to help the company send the shows to Scotland.

Playwright and director Ellen Cribbs is a senior acting major from Ithaca College. The company includes Ithaca College Theatre students Ina Marie Smith, Jon-Michael Miller, Catherine Lena Stephani, Gary Howell, and Jesi Lamont.
