Caissa Joan Willmer, 75 of North Aurora Street, Ithaca, New York died at 1:06am., Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca.
Born December 10, 1930in New Rochelle, New York,she was a daughter of the late William C. and Carin (nee Bismark) Weber and the wife of John Willmer of Cortland, NY.
Caissa was an editor and writer for Cornell University and The Ithaca Times.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son A J of Beverly Hills, CA., three daughters, Abigail of Ulaanbataar, Mongolia, Sarah of San Francisco, CA., Adisa of Oakland, CA, a sister, Patricia Pelton of Naples, FL; her grandchildren Dejah, Anjuli, Nicholas and Emma Pearl. The Willmer family would like to thank Erin and Kerry Quinn and their families, for their love and companionship.
Services will be 11:00am Sunday at The Cornell Labratory of Ornithology. Caissa will be buried privately at Greensprings Natural Cemetery Preserve, Newfield, NY.
