CORTLAND:  John C. Mc Kane, "Luke"  52 of Rickard Street, Cortland, New York died Sunday evening, June 11, 2006 at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca.

 

Born August 23, 1953 in Cortland, New York, he was the son of the late Ronald G. Mc Kane, who died November 28, 2005 and Marion (nee Swartwood) Stallings of Ithaca, NY. Mr. Mc Kane was employed as a Truck Driver for G and L Trucking, Locke, NY.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his sister Terry (Dale) Walter of Burdett, nephew, Philip Walter, niece, Jamie Pokerwinski, several cousins, aunts, uncles and many special friends, including Bob and Rhonda, Ken, Brandy, Kayli, Alyssa and Aaron. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Mc Kane who died in August, 1996.

 

Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday at The Lansing Funeral Home, Inc.  Interment will follow in North Lansing Cemetery, Lansing, NY.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, between the hours of 5:00pm and 7:00pm at the funeral home, 32 Auburn Road, Lansing, NY 533.8600.(http://www.lansingfuneralhome.com/)
