ITHACA - Patricia Ann Holloway Sherman, 58, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 6, 1947, in Scipio, NY, daughter of the late Frank and Issabelle Brown Holloway. Patricia was married to the late Ronald Comstock, Sr., in 1965. In 1979, she married the late Richard Sherman. She was also predeceased by her two brothers, William and Frank Holloway.
Patricia is survived by her two sons, Ronald Comstock, Jr., (Melanie), Lansing, NY, Peter Comstock (Jennifer), Ithaca, NY; her two daughters, Kathy Comstock, Ithaca, NY, Betty Pealo and son-in-law, Brian Pealo, Ithaca, NY; her eight grandchildren, Katelyn Hoy, Tammy and Chelsea Hayes, Courtney, Christopher, Jaylynn, Danielle and Chrissy Comstock; her sister, Juanita Holloway Kloss and brother-in-law, Martin Kloss, Theresa, NY; and her several nieces and nephews. A private family burial will be coordinated by Lansing Funeral Home, and held in East Venice Cemetery, East Venice, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Patricia, may be made to Hospicare of Tompkins County, 172 East King Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850. |
