After last year's winning season, the Lansing Girls Swim team continued the streak with a strong win against Southern Cayuga on Tuesday.  When the 12 event meet was done Lansing finished with more than double their opponents' score with 116 - 54.

In the Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay Lansing's Lansing's C team (Nikki Dean, Leigh Conley, Kali Dean and Claire Eckstrom) took first place.  Hannah Wingate placed first in the Girls 200 Yard Freestyle, finishing in 2:06:86, followed by Kendal Dean in second place and Kayla Arrison in third.  Kali Dean sped to first place in the Girls 200 Yard IM, with Lansing taking all three top spots.  Erin Obrien won second place and Maeve Campbell third.

The Girls 50 Yard Freestyle was a win for Southern Cayuga's Bethany Ortquist, but Lansing took the next three scoring places with Claire Eckstrom in second, Rachel Bland taking third, and Nicole Nassif fourth.  

Three Lansing divers scored in Girls 1 mtr Diving, including Morgan Barron, Danyelle Barron, and Kristin Carlson.

Hannah Wingate sped to first place again when she finished the 100 Yard Butterfly in 1:08.71.  Lansing's Kelsy Quigley took second, and Chelsie Radcliffe scored in fourth place.  Kali Dean took first again in the 100 Yard Freestyle, finishing in 56:48, almost half the time of the second place Leigh Conley, who finished in 1:03.41.  Kate Adie took fifth, scoring a point for Lansing.

Nikki Dean, who holds an IAC record in the 500 Yard Freestyle, finished first in 5:36.82, just 15 seconds short of her record.  Ashley McDonald scored second in the event.   Lansing's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay C team, Kendal Dean, Rachel Bland, Erin Obrien and Hannah Wingate, took first, finishing in 1:52.78.  Lansing's E team (Maeve Campbell, Nicole Nassif, Kate Adie and Kelsy Quigley) took second place.

Claire Eckstrom sped to victory when she completed the Girls 100 Yard Backstroke in 1:08.77.  Lansing's Lexi Payton came in second, with Anna Mapes scoring in fifth.  Southern Cayuga dominated the 100 Yard Breaststroke, with Lansing's Leigh Conley taking second and Sarah Tull fourth to SC's Laura Heslop.  But Lansing recovered in the final event when the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay C team (Kendal Dean, Erin Obrien, Kayla Arrison and Rachel Bland) took first place in 4:17.81 and the E Team (Maeve Campbell, Ashley McDonald, Kelsy Quigley and Nicole Nassif) took third place.
