The Star is Free
Reading Lansing Star Account is free. Keep up with our community news any time, anywhere you have access to a computer. Here are some of the benefits:
Sign up for our weekly e-mail and you will never forget to read the Lansing Star. Each Friday when a new issue is posted we send mail to readers who sign up. It has a link to the Star plus the headlines for the new issue.
How to Do It
Step 1: Click here to create an account. Fill in each field and then click the "Send Registration" button.
Step 2: When you create your account the system sends you an e-mail to the address you provided. Creating a log-in has no other purpose than to sign you up for our weekly e-mail that tells you when a new issue of the Star has been published.
That's all there is to it. Now you can log in with your user name and password any time you want to change your e-mail reminder settings.
Privacy Policy
What do we do with your e-mail address?
What We Do
- When you sign up for an account we send the validation e-mail to you. You must be able to receive this mail in order to validate your account.
- When a new edition of the Lansing Star is posted we send you an e-mail to let you know. You may opt out of this mailing at any time.
- If you need technical support or have a question or a problem we reply to your e-mail address.
Warning!
Mail you receive from the Lansing Star will never ask for your password and never contain an attachment for you to click on. If you get mail that does this it is malicious mail from someone else falsely representing themselves as us. If you are not sure, send an e-mail using the "Contact Us" button on the main menu and we will let you know if it is legitimate mail or not.
What We Do NOT Do
- We do not sell our mailing list or share it with anyone. We hate spam, and we do not want our subscribers to get it because of us. So we simply do not share your e-mail address with anyone.
- We do not send attachments for you to click on
- We do not ask for your password
