ImageI agree with Mr. Bahar's assessment of the current sewer situation. The residents of this community still have not seen any proof that our water quality is in jeopardy.

The best idea I've heard is to stop spending taxpayer money on all of these useless studies, forget about a sewer system and instead monitor private septic systems with regular inspections - every 2 years for lakefront homes and every 7 years for everyone else.

Again, if the developers are so dogged about building their expensive homes, let them pay for the larger septic systems these homes will require to maintain a healthful quality of life for all Lansing residents.
