With the Class C Sectional Meet taking place yesterday, Lansing athletes competed in some of the events Monday at Union Endicott. Rusty Landon won the Pentathalon for the second week in a row. He won it at the IAC meet with a score of 3084 points and set a new school record in the 1500m with a time of 4:25. His score at the sectional meet was 3000pts. Senior boy pole vaulters Pat Sweazey and Jeremy Petak also competed in the pole vault and took 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Senior Frank Massi and Freshman Josh Barber competed in the steeplechase. Massi earned a 4th place finish. The pole vault and steeplechase were scoring events for the rest of the sectional meet in Dryden. ---- v3i20
