Cross Country Team Off and Running |

The Lansing Varsity Cross Country team is off to a great
season with the largest boys varsity team in years. Captains Travis Miller, a
senior, and Josh Barber, a sophomore, are two of the top scorers so far this
season.
Newcomer Jon Cleveland has proven his ability among the top
runners and looks forward to a
promising season. The team, comprised mostly of sophomores has the potential to
take on the Section title. So far this season they have placed first at Candor
and second at the Moravia meets.
The team looks forward to a great season and encourages the
community to show its support at our only home meet on Tuesday, October 2 at
5:00pm at Sobus Field.
