SoccerThe Lansing Boys Soccer Team is now 8-0-1.  This past week the boys posted wins over Trumansburg 4-1,  Union Springs 6-1, and Watkins Glen 4-0.

During the Trumansburg game it was Erik Rasmussen who found the goal two times while Walker Diebolt and Ryan Mallinson also scored.  Diebolt had two assists as well.  The game saw Lansing dominate from beginning to end as they played a ball control style of play.   Tim McGiff was solid in the back as he shut-down Trumansburg's top scorer, Chris Grey.

Against Union Springs, Ryan Mallinson notched 4 goals, Walker Diebolt One Goal an Joe Skeps one goal-   Again it was McGiff shutting down the top scorer for Union Springs.  Tyler Fleming was solid in the back as well.

Against Watkins Glen the bobcats were trying to put up a better showing then the first meeting earlier in the year (1-0 Lansing) and they did as they won 4-0.  Michael Bradford recorded the shut-out for Lansing while Nick Geisler had two goals, Erik Rasmussen had one goal and Caey Byrne had a goal.  Deibolt, and Byrne also assisted on goals.

The boys are coming together as a team and have another big week ahead.  Their next game will be Saturday (tomorrow) the 29th at 11:00am at home vs. a very good Elmira Notre Dame team.
