The Lansing track team started it's indoor season December 14th at Cortland state with a 9th/10th age group meet.

The teams top perfomances were highlighted by Sophomore Chloe Ryan's new school record in the 55m dash. Ryan who formerly tied the 55m dash record last season looks to be faster than ever. With some new block work, Ryan ran a time of 7.4 seconds to win the event.

Other top perfomers included:
Women:

Kathryn Hornibrook: 1st place in the 300m run (45.7s); 2nd place in
the 55m dash (7.70s)
Lindsay Petry: 1st place in the pole vault(8'0")
Tammy Kohman: 4th place in the 1500m run (6:01.60)

Men:
Josh Barber: 2nd place in the 1000m (2:53.70); 4th place in the 1600m (5:03.20)
John Cleveland: 5th place in the 1000m (3:06.30)
Max Hautaniemi: 5th place in the 600m (1:45.80)
Eddy Potter: 6th place in the 3000m (10:46)
3200m Relay team 4th place (10:29.20) (Dan Comisi, Eddy Potter, Alex Rogers, John Cleveland)
1600m Relay team 2nd place (4:18) (Luke Davis, Zach Dwyer, Fernando Nunez, Josh Barber)

The 11th/12th grade meet will be Friday the 21st at Cortland State.
