Women's Expo Announced for May |

 ITHACA, NY - Cayuga Radio Group announced WOMEN’S EXPO 2008 Monday. This year’s Expo will be held Thursday, May 8th from 4p.m. to 8p.m., at the TC3 Sports Complex in Dryden, NY. Due to the success of last year’s event, which drew over 700 people, the new TC3 location will allow for an expanded event with more vendors and free parking.
This evening will include interactive exhibits, entertainment, wine tasting, and door prizes. The Expo is free and open to the public.
In conjunction with WOMEN’S EXPO 2008, Cayuga Radio group will be honoring 20 OUTSTANDING WOMEN YOU SHOULD KNOW. These outstanding women will be honored in the “20 Outstanding Women You Should Know” magazine, and will be presented with their awards at the Expo on May 8th. The radio group is asking for nominations on any of the five Cayuga Radio Group station websites: www.qcounty1037.com, www.literock973.com, www.I100rocks.com, www.whcu870.com, and www.1470wnyy.com.
Last years’ recipients of the “20 Outstanding Women You Should Know” award were: Melinda Sue Alvich, Colleen Barnes, Jalaja Bonheim, Marian Brown, Jennifer Engel, Shawn Galbreath, Peggy Haine, Brigid Hubberman, Laurie Linn, Ruth Lucas, Maj. Deborah Lugiano, Jemma Macera, Terry Martinez, LaBerta McGruder, Alice Reid, Constance V.A. Thompson, Catherine Valentino, Marianne Dougan Varn, Anke Wessels, and Lori Westervelt.
