ImageOn 2-9-08 all IAC teams came together at Waverly to roll in the final IAC event of the season, all toghether there were over 160 bowlers both girls & boys all wanting to finish first today. There was plenty of excitment from the opening ball being rolled as High average for girls & boys get this honor.

Saturday Megan Patterson from Waverly & T J Williams & Joe Stiener from Tioga (yes these two boys tied for high average with a 220). This just started the day as Lansings ninth grader Trevor Rounds started with the first seven strikes en route to a 235 game. Not to be outdone, Lansings Phil Kulis rolls the first eleven the next game for a 298 game and Grotons John Hilker and Waverly's Micheal Beard start the third game with 9 & 8 each.

The lanes were abuzz as Lansing boys finish the day with their seasons high total of 3091 pins, only to be out done by Candor with a 3116, which came right down to their last bowler. The top bowlers in the boys division were Phil Kulis 298-693, John Hilker 688, Joe Stiener 683, Dan Baldini 681, and Lukas Buckman 680.  Saturday proved to be quite the day on the boys side.

Over on the girls side Waverly had it's way with the rest of the league rolling 2700 to TAE's second place finish of 2379. Lansing girls placed 5th over the day and look to improve their scores at Midway Lanes today at sectionals. High scores on the girls side were Marissa Kinter 591, Nicole Rice 580, Ariana Deming 554, Kristi Sullivan 549, and Amanda Menecella 544. All schools look to this weekend for sectionals.
