Lansing Indoor Track Teams First in Small Schools Division Print

This past Friday, the Lansing Track team competed at the Hurley/Quinney Invitational at Cornell's Barton Hall. Both the Boys and Girl's teams won first place in the small school division.

Top finishers were:

First Place:
-SPRINT MEDLEY RELAY 4:22.05(Lindsay Petry, Kathryn Hornibrook, Anna Mapes, Ryann Cretney)
-Ryann Cretney; 1000m; 3:11.51
-Ryann Cretney; 1500m; 5:03.33
-Henry Potter; 600m; 1:27.50

Second Place:
-Anna Mapes; 600m; 1:44.20
-Walker Diebolt; 3200m; 10:12.31
-Eddy Potter; 1000m; 2:47.48
-Jeff Swayze; Shot Put; 46'08.75"

Third Place:
-Christine Fuchs; Racewalk; 10:01.41
-Lindsay Petry; Pole Vault; 8'06.00"

Fourth Place:
-Carol Melice; Pole vault; 8'00.00"

Fifth Place:
-Distance Medley Relay; 11:34.50 (Eddy Potter, Henry Potter, Walker Diebolt, Josh Barber)
-Anna Mapes; 300m; 44.40
-Kathryn Hornibrook; 55m; 07.85

Sixth Place:
-Walker Diebolt; 1600m; 4:53.60
-Ken Tillapaugh; Long Jump; 20'02.50"

The team competes at Cornell again today.
