Football “Face-Off” on the Wake-up Q Print

ImageWhen the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers take to the “Frozen Tundra” of Lambeau field this Sunday, there will be more than just the N-F-C Championship and a berth in the Super Bowl at stake.

A friendly wager between Q Country 103.7 afternoon host Marty Brandon and News Director Geoff Dunn will mean one of the two will be sporting a new “face” come Monday morning.

So whoever’s favorite team comes up short this Sunday will have his face painted with the colors of the winning team. A professional face painter will do the honors Monday morning on the Wake-Up Q program. As part of the wager, Geoff or Marty must wear his new “face” for the entire day!

Brandon calls himself a devout Packers fan dating back to the Vince Lombardi era when Green Bay won the first two Super Bowls. Dunn has been through some pretty lean times with the Giants since the Yale Bowl. But since New York’s Super Bowl win in 1991, his favorite words have been “wide right.”

The painting will take place On Q Country’s morning show, “The Wake-Up Q”, Monday morning, January 21st, at the beginning of the 9:00 a.m. hour.  The studio is at 1751 Hanshaw Road in Ithaca.
