Shooting Stars Prepare for States |

 The Ithaca 14U and 16U Shooting Stars played games March 1-2 in preparation for their participation in the NYSAHA Tier 2 tournaments March 7-9. The 14U girls hockey team was defeated 0-1 by the Camillus Cougars while the 16Us fell to the Rochester Edge 16U Tier 1 team 1-2 and 0-6.
Ali Pace made 20 saves in goal for the 14Us. The lone goal for Camillus was scored in the final seconds of the game.
The 16U Shooting Stars fell to the Rochester Tier 1 team 1-2 and 0-6. Sarah Eisenhut stopped 18 shots in this loss which also featured Janesa Cornish scoring from an assist by Lauren Cole. Annabelle Jones stopped 20 shots in the other defeat.
