Track Team Prepares for States |

Lansing had an absolutely amazing performance overall at the Section IV State Qualifier meet at Cornell's Barton Hall on February 22nd. Overall, we qualified for states in eleven events (5 boys and 6 girls).
The State qualifiers are:
- Walker Diebolt in the 3200m run
- Henry Potter in the 600m run
- Eddy Potter in the Intersectional Distance Medley (opted out of this event)
- 4X800m relay team of (Walker Diebolt, Henry Potter, Eddy Potter, Josh Barber. alt. Jon Cleveland and Luke avis).
- Jeff Swayze in the Shot Put
Henry Potter, Jeff Swayze, and the 4x800m relay team were all overall champions in the State quals.
For the girls:

Anna Mapes in the Intersectional Medley team (opted out of this event)

Jenna Lamb in the RaceWalk

Lindsay Petry in the Pole Vault

Ryann Cretney in the 3200m run

Ryann Cretney in the 1500m run

4x200m relay team of (Chloe Ryan, Anna Mapes, Lindsay Petry, Kathryn Hornibrook...alt. Christine Fuchs, Carol Melice)
Ryann Cretney was the overall champion in the 1500m run, Jenna Lamb in
the Racewalk, and the 4x200m relay team won as well setting a new
school record of 1:51.46 FAT.
The State meet will be this Saturday at Cornell's Barton Hall.
