Raymond Konecny, age 71, passed away at his home following a brief illness.
Raymond was born in Moravia on May 12, 1936, a son of the late Stephen J. and Elsie Konecny. He had worked in sales and also as a bartender for many years. Raymond is survived by his sons, Steven L. (Denise) Spafford of Auburn, Stephen J. (Linda) Konecny of Missouri and Vincent (Kelly) Konecny of Auburn, his grandchildren, Kellie, Jennifer and Linsey Spafford, Emily and Joshua Konecny and by several cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Dorothy in December 2007.
Family and friends are invited to call at Lansing Funeral Home, 32
Auburn Road, Lansing, NY on Thursday, March 13, 2007 from 2:00 until
4:00pm. A scripture service, led by Deacon George Kozak of All Saints
Church in Lansing, will be held at 10:00am on Friday, March 14, 2008 at
Lansing Funeral Home. Burial will follow at in Calvary Cemetery,
Ithaca, NY.
