Varsity Golf Starts Season With a Win |

 The Lansing Varsity Golf Team opened its 2008 season with a win over Watkins Glen on Monday. Conditions were wet and windy at Cornell where the teams played under a "lift and place" format.
Team totals for this match were as follows: Lansing - 247, Watkins Glen - 273. The Bobcats were led by Jess Esposito who medaled with a 40. Jess recorded the only birdie of the day with a 4 on the par 5 eighth hole at RTJ. Other team members who posted solid scores included Craig Esposito (44), Austin Moore (46) and Conor Stanhope (47). Bruce Wells led Moravia with a 48.
Lansing with host another home match on Wednesday against Moravia.
