Theresa E. Teeter, age 92, resident of the Longview Community, died on Monday, April 28, 2008, at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca.

Theresa was born on November 12, 1915 in Union Bridge, MD, a daughter of the late John and Theresa (Eberhart) Kroboth. She had been a lifetime resident of the Lansing and Dryden areas. Theresa had worked at Jamesway in Ithaca for nearly 20 years in addition to caring for her family.

She is survived by her children, Clifford (Lola) Teeter of Marianna, FL, and Joyce (James) Kuhr of Vestal; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Kroboth of Albany; and by her husband's family. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford, in 1991; a daughter, Edith Parlett; and a granddaughter, Cheri Stevenson, in 2001; and by her siblings, Mary Reeves, Ann Turcsik, Julia Barella, Rose Kroboth and John Kroboth.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to Noon on Friday, May 2, 2008, at the Lansing Funeral Home, 32 Auburn Road, in Lansing. A Scripture Service, led by Father Scott Kubinski of All Saints Catholic Church, will be held at the funeral home at Noon on Friday. Prayers of Committal will be then be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Newfield. Those who wish to remember Theresa in the form of a memorial are asked to direct them to the Longview Resident Activity Fund.
