ImageLast Friday Lansing had a tough loss to Trumansburg. The team was up until the bottom of the 7th when they had a base hit to win the game.

From Trumansburg, Lansing caught a bus up to Herkimer, NY for the annual Mudville Tournament. In the first game the Bobcats beat Hammond 15-1 in 6 innnings. The second game saw a tough team in St. Lawrence. They were ahead 5-2 in the bottom of the 7th when Lansing came back and tied the game 5-5. In the top of the 8th they scored two runs.

Lansing came back in the bottom of the 8th with 3 runs to win the game. The tying hit was by Lori Mckane and the game winning hit was by Nina Lindberg. On Monday, Lansing played Union Springs who we lost to in the first game of the season (10-12). Lansing won 6-5 and hit the ball very well.

Hot bats for the last few games include Brittany French, Kari Fenner, Cassandra Smith, Cayla Halton, and Nina Lindberg. Kristi Sullivan pitched all four games and remained strong throughout.
