Callahan, FL - Maiga Zeipe, age 86, of Callahan, FL, formerly of Ithaca, a retired custodian with Cornell Animal Clinic died Sunday May 25th, 2008 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Zeipe was born on January 29th, 1922 in Aluksne, Latavia, the daughter of the late Peters and Helena Pulsts. Her husband Augusts Zeipe, preceded her in death on April 1, 2004. Mrs. Zeipe will always be remembered for her passion for flowers and her love for kitty cats.
Survivors include: a daughter, Ingrida (Earl) Wright of Callahan, FL; two granddaughters, Rebekah (Keith) Thompson and Laura (Anthony) Tillis, both of Jacksonville, FL; and one great-grandson, Tyler Tillis and a great-grand-daughter Kelsey Thompson.
Friends and family may call Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the Herson Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
