Ithaca 19Us Play in Canada, 12Us at Home |

The Ithaca Shooting Stars 12U girls hockey team went 1-1 last weekend at home while the 19Us participated in the Kingston Ice Wolves Tournament in Ontario finishing 1-2-1.
When the 12Us lost to the Camillus Cougars 12Us, 7-0, Caitlyn Whittaker made 28 saves in goal. They defeated the Binghamton Blizzard girls, 2-1.Whittaker stopped 26 in the victory. Anna Kirkwood scored from a feed from Ellie Muckstadt. Paige Johnson scored assisted by Grace Wolczanski.
The 19U Shooting Stars started the tournament tying Brockville Angels,
2-2. Katie Long scored assisted by Emily Eisenhut and Erin Grainger.
Eisenhut scored the second assisted by Long. Long scored the only goal
needed in their 1-0 victory over the Napanee Crunch, assisted by
Eisenhut and Lauren Cole. Goalie Sarah Eisenhut made many stops in
their two 1-0 losses to the Castor River Coyotes and the Cold Creek
Comets.
