On October 13th Lansing's Girls Swimming and Diving Team remained unbeatable as they swam to their ninth win for the season. The team has no losses this season. This was their second match against Waverly, which they won handily with a score of 119-66.

The Lansing 'C' team, Claire Eckstrom, Hannah Wingate, Nikki Dean and Kali Dean, took first place in the Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay in 2:04.97. Lansing's 'E' team also scored, taking third place in 2:17.32. Swimmers were Kendal Dean, KC Hatfield, Becky Mapes and Leigh Conley.


In the next event Caitlin Wright (2:09.29) took first place and Rachel Bland ( 2:21.78) scored in third in the 200 Yard Freestyle.

Hannah Wingate came in just .4 seconds behind the first place Waverly swimmer, finishing in 2:24.38. Chelsie Radcliffe and Kayla Arrison also scored in the event. Next Nikki Dean took first place in the 50 Yard Freestyle in only 26.27.

In 1 mtr Diving Kiki Gifft (177.75) took first place, while Kristin Carlson (144.95) took second and Danyelle Barron (117.15) scored in fourth. Hannah Wingate streaked into first place in 1:08.46 with Lansing girls taking second (Leigh Conley in 1:16.66) and third (Kenda Dean in 1:21.08).

Next Lansing won the 100 Yard Freestyle with Rachel Bland coming in first (1:00.28), and Kayla Arrison (1:06.28) and Katrina Mehringer (1:08.75) scoring in third and fourth place. Kali Dean took the lead in the 500 Yard Freestyle when she finished in 5:46.16. KC Hatfield and Kiki Gifft also scored in the event.

In the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay the Lansing 'C' team finished first when Katrina Mehringer, Nikki Dean, Rachel Bland and Caitlin Wright completed the relay in 1:49.90. Lansing's 'E' team came in second with Nicole Nassif, Kristin Carlson, Anna Mapes and Kayla Arrison finishing in 2:03.99.

The tenth event saw Claire Eckstrom completing the 100 Yard Backstroke in 1:05.36, putting her in first place. Leigh Conley and Chelsie Radcliffe also scored. In the 100 Yard Becky Mapes took first in 1:16.71 with Sarah Tull scoring for Lansing.

The meet wrapped up with another Lansing win when KC Hatfield, Kali Dean, Kiki Gifft and Caitlin Wright completed the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay in first place (4:05.23) and Kristin Carlson, Leigh Conley, Nicole Nassif and Chelsie Radcliffe (4:36.32) scored in third.
