Lansing Wrestler Wins Medal in Puerto Rico |

On Oct. 14th & 15th Lansing Wrestler Kyle Dake traveled to Aquadilla, Puerto Rico along with other wrestlers from the Shamrock Wrestling Club to compete in the 10th Annual Sparta Cup Freestyle Wrestling Tournament.

 The tournament was sponsored by the Department of Recreation and Sports and The Olympic Wrestling Federation of Puerto Rico. The two day tournament consisted of twenty teams from Puerto Rico, USA and other Latin countries. Kyle won his first match by beating Richie Reinoche from Lancaster, PA. Kyle pinned his next two wrestlers Edwin Estrada and Esteban Berroa, both from Puerto Rico, to win the gold.
