Syracuse-Mary Jane (Chase) Fuller, 74 of Syracuse went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 28, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Rev. William H. and Flora Turk Chase, formerly resided in Ithaca. She predeceased by her brother, Richard Chase.
Mary was a graduate of Edmeston Central High School and worked toward a nursing degree during the 1970's. She was active in music in her church for many years. She loved reading, puzzles and spending time playing games with her grandchildren.
Mary was married for 24 years to Raymond C. Fuller and together they
raised six children who all survive; Raymond C. (Maxine) Fuller, Jr. of
Syracuse; Jacqueline Elizabeth(William) Young of Marshfield, MA; Terri
Lee (Lynn) Gaiteri of Solva; Penny Sue (Carlos) Benedict, of Syracuse;
Pamela Jo Duffy of Centerville, VA; Thomas W. (Sallie) Fuller of Danby;
18 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services
will be held at the South Hill Church of the Nazarene at 10:00 on
Monday, (June 1, 2009) with the Rev. Doug Weeks officiating. Burial
will take place following at the South Hill Cemetery with her brother,
Rev. Martin Chase presiding. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of
the Herson Funeral Home, Ithaca.
