Troops Receive Lansing Tree |

 Moore Tree Farm in Lansing contributes trees and resources each year to the Trees for Troops initiative, which is expected to collect and deliver more than 15,000 Real Christmas Trees from across the nation to military families across the United States, as well as to soldiers serving overseas. The Moores also work to send individual trees to troops serving in Iraq. This year they worked with two groups from Lafayette, New York to send two real trees to Iraq.
Once the trees are shaken and baled they fit into a long cardboard shipping box that can be mailed. Recently SFC Paul Burk shared these pictures with the Moores. "I cannot put into words what these photos show," Kay Moore says.
