FREE GIFT: Normally functioning folks like you and me know that a gift is something given. By definition, it’s free. Many in advertising don’t function normally, of course.
At the Institute for the Linguistically Impaired, such patients are treated with repeated mild electric shocks. After enough negative association eliminates free gift, patients progress to free of charge and absolute guarantee.
