WAVERLY: Rev. Ralph L. Crispell, 72 of 80 Spring Street, Waverly, New York died at 7:50am, Thursday, January 19, 2006 at The Tioga Nursing Home, Waverly, New York.

Born February 5, 1933 in Ithaca, New York, he was a son of the late Bertram and Mary (nee Sanderson) Crispell. Rev. Crispell was a member of Brooktondale Baptist Church, Keystone Baptist Church, South Waverly, NY. and served as a clergyman for baptist churces in Pharsalia, Sempronius and Ripley, New York. He had also been employed as a dispatcher with Ithaca Gun Company and in the Custodial Department at Cornell University.
Survivors include his wife Kathleen (nee Ridall) of Waverly, NY, his daughter, Rebecca (Ellis) French of Denver, CO., his son, James (Phyllis Cohn) of Waverly, NY., his brothers, Herb (Rachel), Eugene (Nancy) both of Slaterville Springs, NY., Jim Welch of Ithaca, his sisters, Arlene (Don) McMillan of Sheridan, WY., Maxine (Erwin) Heffron of Newfield, NY, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be Monday, 2:00pm at The Keyston Baptist Church, 351 Fulton Street, South Waverly, NY. Rev. Jim Fox will officiate. Calling hours will be private. Burial in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden, NY will be delayed.

Contributions in memory of Rev. Crispell may be directed to The Slaterville Springs Fire Department, 2681 Slaterville Road, Slaterville, NY 14881.
