2/14/06 -- Lansing Varsity Boys Basketball team lost to Newfield in a 55-47 game.  Treyson Barresi IAC Division III MVP led Lansing with 19 points.

Newfield was just a bit better in all areas -- they were more composed an got us in the third quarter.  We came back to cut it to 5 but ran out of time.  They are a very good team.  I think it will help us for sectionals. Lansing gets a first round bye and will play at home on the 24th of February vs. the winner of the Trumansburg/Whitney Point game.  Lansing is the #3 seed in the tournament.
