Shirley R. Sullivan of Lansing passed away February 9, 2015, at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family.

Born June 19, 1927 in Masten, PA, she was a daughter of the late Jasper and Almira (Walker) Robbins.  

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her brothers, Bernard, Emmett, Merrill and Theron Robbins, all of Canton, PA; her sisters, Laura Koernig of Philadelphia, PA, Marjorie Cott of Williamsport, PA, and Mary Jane Saxe of Dayton OH; and granddaughter in-law, Kimberly Mikula of Buffalo, NY.

She is survived by her children, Robert C. Sullivan (Cheryl) of Newfield, Carol Mikula (John) of Lansing, Brenda Sullivan of Lansing and Mary Lapp (Sam) of Trumansburg; a sister, Letha Tomlin of Chambersburg, PA; grandchildren, Scott Sullivan (Vanessa) of TX, Stacey Stone (Parker) of Dryden, Jennifer Pacetti (Rick) of Lansing, Tracie Larkin (Terry) of Lansing, Kellie Larkin of Lansing, Ryane Sullivan of FL, John Mikula (Lindy) of Buffalo and Danny Lapp of Trumansburg, Erin Yengo (Joe) of Ithaca, Melody Eastman (Bruce), and Jason Irvin of Newfield; great grandchildren, Taylor Larkin, Jayden and Brooklyn Larkin Burnett, Ethan, Lucas and Hailey Pacetti, Julianna and Audrey Stone, Emiliano Sullivan, Payton and Paige Yengo, Emily and Brandon Eastman, and Jason and Isabella Irvin.  Shirley also leaves many nieces, nephews and a large extended family.

Shirley was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed baking for her family and friends. She loved to read, do crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and spend time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family will be present to receive friends from 12-2 pm, Saturday, February 14th, at Lansing Funeral Home, 32 Auburn Rd., Lansing, NY, followed at 2pm by a memorial service, officiated by Pastor Mike Paris.
