mailmanOn March 16, Tom Reed, representative of the 23rd congressional district including Lansing, endorsed Donald Trump for President.  With this endorsement, Mr. Reed announced his support for Mr. Trumps character, leadership, and policies.   Does Tom Reed continue to believe that Mr. Trump has the credentials to be president?

Reed has continued to support Trump when fifty senior Republican national security officials declared that a Donald Trump "lacks the character, value and experience" to be president.  Reed has continued to support Trump when the Wall Street Journal reported that none for the 45 economists who have served on the White House Council of Economic Advisers (under both Republican and Democratic administrations) supported Donald Trump (WSJ 8/25/6).  Mr. Reed has continued his support despite the republication nominee's weekly outrageous insults to women, veterans, the disabled and racial and religious minorities.

Should we, the voters in the 23rd district, question Tom Reed's judgment as demonstrated by his continued endorsement of Mr. Trump?  My mother taught me that we are judged by the company we keep.  I suggest that the voters in the 23rd district should part company with both Donald Trump and Tom Reed.
