Dear Editor,

I would like to add my name to the list of all who are endorsing Deb Munson for a full term as Town Clerk for the Town of Lansing. I have known Deb and her family for over 40 years. I have found her to be caring, competent, reliable and responsible. She has experience in both the private and public sector which make her an outstanding candidate to hold this office.

The web page of the NYS Office of Comptroller states: "The Town Clerk is also the clerk of the town board but has no vote. The clerk is in charge of most town records, issues certain licenses and permits, file reports with county, and State agencies as required, is involved with election administration, post legal notices, and is, in many ways a pivot around which the town operates." (Town Law, Section 30).

I can think of no one better qualified to serve the people of the Town of Lansing.

I urge you to join me in voting for Deb Munson on November 8, 2016!
