mailmanYou put into words my thoughts on the present state of parking in downtown Ithaca.

It is, indeed, a nightmare. I only go downtown if I absolutely have to...and it's all because of the parking. It's complex and confusing. When I do go downtown, I park where there are the good, old-fashioned, parking meters, and walk a few blocks to my destination.

I, too, have experienced the perplexing process of paying at the garage near Cinemapolis.

Why, won't they change back to parking meters? A false sense of pride? Can't admit they were wrong? Don't want to pay anyone to check the meters? It's anybody's guess.

For a city that claims to be progressive, parking in Ithaca is very user unfriendly.

Sincerely,
