On April 17, 2006 Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies arrested two Lansing women on the following charge:

Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor

Arrested: Tressa E. Volpicelli age 22 of 868 Lansingville Road, Lansing, New York

Shauna M. Hamilton age 23 of 440 Jerry Smith Road, Lansing, New York.

At approximately 6:31pm. Deputies responded to Target Stores Inc. Pyramid Mall, Village of Lansing for two female shoplifters. Deputies interviewed an employee of Target who alleged that Volpicelli had stolen $116.48 in assorted merchandise and Hamilton had stolen $71.08 in assorted merchandise.

Volpicelli and Hamilton were arraigned in the Lansing Town Court. Both were remanded to the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $3000.00 cash bail/$6000.00 bail bond. Volpicelli and Hamilton are schedule to reappear in the Lansing Town Court on April 25, 2006.
