He succeeds Doug Levine, who has accepted the position of Executive Director at the State Theater in Ithaca.“Rob’s ability to network with others and his passion for the arts and for improving the quality of life in Ithaca made him the successful candidate for this position," says Chamber of Commerce President Jean McPheeters. "The Membership and Public Relations Director for the Tompkins Chamber must be able to convey the spirit and energy of our Chamber and our community to members, local businesses and residents, and potential businesses. Alison B. Helmetsie, PT, of McCune, Ainslie and Associates and Dryden Sport & Spine Physical Therapy received her certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy through the McKenzie Institute International, May 1st, 2009. The McKenzie Method is well-known for its systematic approach to physical therapy, classifying the patient’s condition and teaching the patient how to manage their condition outside the clinic. Ms. Helmetsie is a graduate of Ithaca College’s physical therapy program.
