LANSING: Donald V. De Chellis, 56 of 11 Salmon Creek Road, Lansing, New York died at 6:15pm on Monday, September 19, 2005 at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca.
Born April 6, 1949 in Ithaca, New York he was a son of the late Leo and Alberta (nee Nash) De Chellis. Donald was a self employed contractor who will be dearly missed his family and friends. He was an avid NY Yankees fan.
Surivors include his wife of 20 years, Lealyn ( nee Spiegel ) of Lansing, his daughters, Alisha of Marathon, Seychelle of Lansing, NY , his brothers Alfred of Plattsburg, NY, Carmen of Ithaca, NY, four grandchildren, Kyle, Cameryn, Ainslee and Maddison and many nieces.
Funeral services will be Friday, 2:00PM at The Lansing Funeral Home, Inc., 32 Auburn Road, Lansing, NY. Rev. William Gottschalk-Fielding will officiate. There are no calling hours.
Contributions in memory of Mr. DeChellis may be directed to a fund for the benefit of his daughter Seychelle, C/O Rich Dolge, Tompkins Trust Company, The Commons Office, Ithaca, NY 14850.
