ImageLansing Athletic Director John Taylor reported on the Fall varsity season to the Board Of Education at their last Monday meeting.   "Overall it was a very, very successful Fall season," Taylor said.  "We hope to have a successful Winter season."

Cross Country

5-0 in the division, second place in the Divisional Meet.  John Cleveland and Shanna Swanson made 1st all-stars team, and Josh Barber made 2nd team.  Barber won the Brad Sanford Award for Academics.

Barber and Cleveland competed at the State Championship at Sunken Meadows on Long Island.  Both placed well in States.

Girls Swimming
10-0 season, IAC DUal Meet Champions, IAC Swimming Champions.  One individual (Kali Dean) and one relay team will compete at State Championships in Buffalo next week.

Kali Dean was named Most Outstanding Swimmer.  All-stars included Dean, Alex Conti, Cory Pollack, Ashley McDonald, Anna Mapes, Lindsey Petry, Erin Trowbridge, Lexi Peyton


Cheerleading
3rd Place in IAC Competition

Football
League Record of 1 in 2
Overall Record of 4 in 5
All-stars Matt Hartz and Justin Payne will participate in the Ernie Davis Bowl Game on Thanksgiving day.  Taylor says injuries waylaid the football team this year. 

Boys Soccer

Beaten by Watkins Glen in a close game at Sectionals

Regional Finalists
IAC Co-MVPs are Rachel and Megan Pallidino
Scored 170 goals with 18 shutouts.  22 most wins.
1st Team All-stars Megan and Rachel Pallidino, Lydia Warkenstin, Ellyn Grant-Keane, MC Barrett, Kathryn Hornbrook
2nd Team Mary Bacorn, Taylor Jordan, Katy Bland
Honorable Mentions: Cassie Palladino, Britany French, Beth Lader
Individual records included 44 Most Goals by Rachel Pallidino, 18 shutouts by MC Barrett and 188 Section IV Career Goals by Rachel Pallidino, who also had the most (29) assists.
