ImageThe Lansing Boys Basketball Team is off to a 4-1 start.  The Boys Beat Union Spring in their opener 53-22, but dropped a tough Road game to Watkins Glen 44-37.

Then the boys have reeled off three straight wins, beating Moravia 61-45, Newark Valley 54-40 and Dryden 61-39.  The team has relied on good defense in thier wins and have played hard in every game.

Against Dryden Lansing was led by Sophomore Shalom Niyamogabu who put in 15 and Matt Hartz added 14.  This game was a total team effort as the Bobcats experienced foul trouble and Junior Joe Skeps and Senior Jeremy Knout came off the bench to help Lansing to a 15 point half time lead.

Second half was all Lansing as they dominated the 3rd quarter.  Justin Payne hit one of his deep threes and Josh Rodgers continues his great all-around play.  Devante Johnson led the team with 6 assists and handled Dryden's pressure very well.

Lansng will travel to Elmira Notre Dame in a huge game on Friday night.
