hf2011_120More than 3,000 people came to Myers Park Saturday to celebrate the 5th annual Lansing Harbor festival.  103 ran in the Lighthouse 5K before the official festival opening, and two fishing derbies -- one for kids -- started early in the morning.  Finding Tomorrow, The Burns Sisters, the Po Boys Brass band and the Canal Street String Band played live on the bandstand.  Cornell Raptors filled out one end of the bird spectrum, while the Baker Cup Chicken barbecue Contest filled out the other.  A good time was had by all.  Here are some pictures of the festival.
