Tompkins Financial Corporation (TMP–NYSE Amex) - Tompkins Financial Corporation has announced organizational changes to become effective over the next several months. According to Tompkins Financial President & CEO Stephen S. Romaine, the changes include promotions that are aligned with the Company’s continuing commitment to customer service, the advancement of technology, positive growth, and in light of certain executive retirements.
Frank Fetsko, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, a new role leading several shared services functions. He will continue as CFO of the Company. Fetsko has been with the Company since 1996, holding his current title since 2003. He is a graduate of the University of Scranton and the National School of Banking at Fairfield University.

The Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce has been awarded a grant from the Community Service Society of New York (CSS) through its outreach program, called Community Health Advocates (CHA), to help serve the small business community through a new Small Business Assistance Program (SBAP).
Williamsville, NY – Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in upstate New York and northern Pennsylvania, today announced that through customer support, $19,469 has been donated to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier as a result of the annual “Check Out Hunger” fundraising campaign. Annually, Tops runs a two-week campaign where customers are asked to donate $2, $3, or $5 at check out, with proceeds benefitting the Food Bank. Shoppers simply have the cashier scan the coupon in the amount they choose and the donation appears on their shopping receipt.
National Book Auctions, located in Ithaca, NY, hosted a Sunday, March 18th auction featuring broad range of rare antique books, as well as pleasing ephemera, coins and currency, and artwork. Of particular note were rare first editions of early and modern titles, many of which were signed. This 357-lot auction also featured two impressive personal collections, one containing nautical history titles and the other anthropological and archaeological works.
