mailmanI am writing in regard to the recent incident at Myers park, in which the park bench in memorial to Mr. Cochran was broken. It saddens me to hear of such vandalism.

As a lansing teen, I like spending time at the park with friends, and doing my part to keep it safe.

I am happy to hear that security cameras will be installed. I see the need for it, but I am disappointed that it is necessary. Thank you to Mr. Tyrrell for all the work he does to make Lansing a fun and safe place for this community.
